A different kinda foe-cuss

What makes you feel worse - when someone you're nice to is nasty to you, or when someone you're nasty to is nice to you?

Moral of the story -- be nice to your enemies.

Make them feel like crap.

:D

it'll be gud if my enemies also read this and start following it, then we'll all be nice to each other and that'll b the end of all the enmity :P

why unnecessary complications??? life will be a lot simpler if things are kept straight.

dosthon se dosthi and dushmanon se dushmani.

my enemy expects and deserves my enmity. he would feel disappointed if i be nice with him. and i shouldn't let him be disappointed.

LOL @ Inder's comment :D

//life will be a lot simpler if things are kept straight.

Well, I believe this is an even simpler option - you treat everyone the same. Kya bolta? :D

//and i shouldn't let him be disappointed.

Arre wohi toh! If you disappoint him instead of living up to his expectations, he will be confused and disoriented... and you will win muahahaha! :D

#Janefield,
Areee kya bol rahi ho??? :O I'm a BEEEEG fan of Abbas Tyrewala! Uski insult na karo behen! :P

Boy - u really get stuck with something dont u :)
there were a series of nostalgic, moody posts sometime back.
And now, there are a series of "Good Will" posts, after u saw Lage Raho

okie - i know u'd be curious!
I havent seen the movie still...

The answer to the question is the former, atleast for me.
If someone i'm nasty to is nice to me, i can apologize easily and move on :)
But if someone i'm nice to is nasty to me, it affects me badly :(

OH........pura Gandhigiri advice de rahi hai Bhai..
I like it.
I am going to be extra nice to ppl I don't like.. before I fell them with a devastating blow :)
And sometime ppl are in a bad mood and say nasty stuff.. Dil pe kyon lene ka?

Inder said...

hahah... isn't being nice to the enemy and winning over him a shortcut to victory?

jeena hai shaan se, marna hai shaan se. and 'shaan' is in fighting it out till the end, like the gladiators :P

dosthi ho tho, use dil se nibayenge
dushmani ho tho, use bhi dil se nibayenge :)

okay. jokes apart, it is really great to be nice to the enemies. we gain nothing by being hostile towards others. may be a touch of cruel satisfaction. but nothing worthwhile.

Hm..... *bubbling thoughts in my mind*. Nice, thought provoking post :-).

I think holding negative thoughts bring more harm to us (it gives me ulcers yaar lol)..so better to let it go, somehow. Maybe put a positive twist to why the person behaved that way or said a certain thing. And if you can't let it go, talk to them and clear things up further.

If someone I have negative feelings towards, is NICE to me, (genuinely nice, not sarcastically and diplomatically nice...:-), main toh pighal hee jaaoongi :-)).

We shd be nice to everyone. If not for them, but for us. For our own peace of mind, and for our own clear conscience. I think tit for tat only brings momemtary relief. But in the end, we might end up hating ourselves more.

I think negative thoughts and feelings are a sign that something needs attention. So it's a good thing that such situations give us a chance to grow and understand things and people better. Ooh, so easy to say this now. It takes a lot of courage and wisdom to follow it.

Enemies? Tapakwana hai kisi ko?

harshi makes good sense only :) we should be nice to others but it should come from the heart. putting on a sweet smile and delivering killer blows is anything but genuine! its deceitful even :(

and sash...i also like that tyrewala dude and appreciate his talent...script i wrote kya? mishtake became! i meant story...tune toh poori picharr ki angle teen line mein likhi, maine kuch nahin kya :P story of munnabhai bringing builder to book and to his knees!!

That's like an sms I received sometime back.

What's more painful? A person you trusted, hurting you? Or a person you hurted, loving you?
[Well, I have retained the sms as it is so that the message is not lost out!]

Like a good MBA, let me say It depends... you know! ;)

Oh yeah? Next time I'll be here as a MAC, and will see what you post :D

You know, it makes sense to follow your policy only when you know that the enemy has a 'head' and a 'heart'. You can touch them by these methods. Otherwise, I believe in crap for crap :D

#Iday,
Hmmm... interesting... for me, it's the reverse... if someone I'm nice to is nasty to me, I can dismiss the person and move on, but if someone I'm nasty to is nice to me, I become the 'bad person' to myself and it's difficult to dismiss yourself and move on, isn't it? :)

#Sakshi,
Sahi bola boss! :)

#Inder,
Yep yep... :)

#Cardamom,
Arre bhai ke dimaag mein chemical locha ho rela hai re :P

//We shd be nice to everyone. If not for them, but for us. For our own peace of mind, and for our own clear conscience. I think tit for tat only brings momemtary relief. But in the end, we might end up hating ourselves more.

Amazing words, Hashi babe! One more time - please start a blog? :)

#Rohit,

Haan Harshi ne dumdaar baat boli na? :) And totally agree that it should be from the heart :)

#Hotwinter,
Errr.... ok :|

#Shekhar,
Arre tusi bulaate hi nahin ho! :P

#Sneha,
Hahaha! Meethi chhuri? Nahin yaar, there's no chhuri here, only mithai... your enemies will feel like crap and then eventually be nice to you too... this is a strategy with a heart :)

#Adi,
Hahaha! Yeah! :)

#QSG,

#Sudipta,
Oye! I've never been mean to a MAC, kya? It's always them who're mean to me :)
