Check out this rather cool toy I'd bought for my li'l niece from the Petronas Towers gift shop in Kuala Lumpur. This dino becomes six times its size when placed in water for 72 hours! Mom and Dad were so fascinated, they insisted that we open it up and 'test it to see if it works' before giving it to my niece.
Before
After
Yeah, that's it. End of post. What were you expecting - an analogy?
Not tonight, honey.
Come up with your own if you want.

yuhuuu... first time first...
ok now comment
What were you expecting - an analogy?
tera koi bharosa nahi hain... u can compare this too, to something or the other..
like, 'sorrows are like the small dino.. if u think constantly about them they will grow six times' yada yada yada
:-)
#Lalit,
Hahahahaha! I like that! Or even better, sorrows are like the small dino. If you soak them in a pink mug full of tears, they will become bigger by six times! Hahahahaha! :D
Does it go back to its original size when you remove it from the water??
#Vishy,
First time here? Welcome! :)
Yes, it shrinks to its original size when taken out of the water. :)
This is what i was fearing
:-)
Your talent can be nurtured only when you are in a proper environment. Say for example, a badminton player can play well only when he is accessible to a proper baddie court and when he is constant practice....!! (sorry .. actually I play lots of it, so had to give that example..)
Anyways.. nice post and an innovative one..
>> Any more? Bring it on,
>> people! :D
Its always better to be a big dino in a small pond rather than a small dino in a big one ... :P
Cheers
Kais
Cute:)
Viks ke liye Dino le aa Sash:)
oh so this is a prototype godzilla..
was the water toxic ?
Big fella looks pretty cramped in the 'After' picture. Can he grow bigger if you put him in a wider mug? If so...
'Life is full of restrictions. You can only grow (in maturity and intellect...ahem) as much as your surroundings allow you to.'
Yeah, I'm not too good with the analogies, am I? I give up - you're the expert. You figure it out and tell us. Kaam-waam mat karvao. ;)
when u visit sayesha, never listen to her and step into any water bodies. You will swell up.
how abt 'tears will only help sorrow grow bigger'
Sayesha, u can name u r dino 'sorrow' or may be dinosorrows
that was very interesting n cute :)
nice pics...
gud dyno-sorrows...
(can u send me one??)
plz remove wrd verification yaar..its so boring :(
#Lalit,
Muahahaha! You know me too well, huh? :D
#Jeevan,
Arre wah, interested! Added. :)
#Viks,
Yeh tu nahin kal ka beer bol raha hai! :D
#Kais,
Hahahaha! I knew you'd come up with a sharp one! :D
#ROS,
Hahahahaha! Good idea! Then he can make the dino pee in pee-ce! :D
#Tu Kaun,
I did not drink the water. I don't know. I don't care. Bwahahaha! :(
#Clueless,
I think it had swelled to the max when I took the pic.
//Kaam-waam mat karvao.
Hehehe! Ab dekha kitni mehnat ka kaam hai? :D
#Thanu,
Sheesh! Itna extreme? :D
#Prad,
Wow, that's a good one! :)
#Marcia,
Hey, welcome to Sayeshaz! :) Hope to see ya around! :)
#Prayank,
Hehehe... I said the same thing to Lalit! But I like the name 'dino-sorrow'! Hahaha! :D
#Naina,
Oh you're here! Run, people, run for your life! 'Cos Naina hates analogies!! Hehehe... :P
I can't seem to find the same toy in Singapore, next time I go to KL, I will buy in bulk for all you guys! :D
ps: I hate word verification too yaar... but the spam's too much :(
Moral of the story:
GO drown yourself if you wanna grow bigger, choice of fluid is yours and I choose alcohol :)
---Kartik.
Moral of the story: Boy, Sayesha is unpredictable.
Aree yaar did not wanna upset ya.. k chalo new analogy frm my side
thinking... kuch nahi aa raha may be later.
Given the right environment, anyone can become six times bigger -- or six times better (although bigger doesn't always = better)! :P
mountain out of a molehill ... ;-) ... in more ways than one ... hehehehe ...
This is a wonderful demonstration of how a tampon works.
Now mom's can say "Beta, finish your milk if you wanna grow up to be big and strong, like the Dino"
Hows "The Little Engine...err...Dino Who Could" for the moral of the story!
The dino doesn't look six times bigger in the "after" picture. Maybe 4 or 5 times bigger.
And if it goes back to its original size when taken out of the water then whats the fun? Its useless.
Not a very good toy. Its more of a toy for water than for the kid, i think :)
*thinking* LOL now me thinking will take ages wont it??
#Kartik,
Hahahahaha! :D
#Shekhar,
I take that as a compliment! :D
#Thanu,
//k chalo new analogy frm my side
thinking... kuch nahi aa raha may be later.
Bada achha analogy hai yaar! ;D
#Banana,
Ah, a profound one! :)
#Anon,
Yes yes you're right! :D
#Anil,
Been there, done that eh? Good for you man.
#Iksha,
My version would be - "Finish your milk if you wanna become extinct!" :O
#Raj,
Offo 5 aur 6 mein kitna difference hai? Waise bhi before after ka volume toh measure hum kar nahin sakte. Phir? Tu bhi na... Tinku ki tarah baal ki khaal nikaal raha hai! :)
//And if it goes back to its original size when taken out of the water then whats the fun?
The fun is to put it back in the water! :D
//Not a very good toy.
Achha baba you go and design your 'good toy'. Apan log yahan khush ho rahe hain toh problem kya hai? :)
#Kusum,
Hahaha! Better come up with it before the next post is up! :P
If you drown a baby dino, he will rsurrect and swell up to take revenge.
From personal experience, Never take pangas with kids, should be the message :P
[No, I never "drowned" a kid.It was an analogy]
Hmm
Interesting !
It says
Things can blow up/get out of proportion if you allow them to.
And someone wrote, not long ago "Some posts have no moral of the story"
HA!!
ok sayesha i got it!!! *loud clapping in the background*
That dino fell into the bathtub and swalloed a peice of soap, and all the bubbles in his tummy have made him fat??
See sometimes I can be genious :)
interesting stuff!!!
cant think of an analogy though.
hehe what a coincidence. my little neices got something similar once, and were scared as hell when the "fish" swelled up and got bigger. first of all they were really ugly when they swelled up and secondly my nieces thought that the fish would keep growing and eat them up!! :)
moral of story: what adults find interesting may just spook the kids out!
#Aslam,
Hehehehe! :P
#Sumedh,
Sheesh! Dark thoughts! :O
#AJ,
Yeah, that's another interesting one! :)
#Lalit,
Oye my post never had any morals (ahem!) in the first place. It was you guys who came up with all the morals! :D
#Anon,
Gosh, what a very disturbing thought! :O Bechare dino ko kitna gas ho gaya! Now he's gonna fart the world apart! :/
#Abhishek,
Not an easy task, eh? ;)
#Ipanema girl,
//what adults find interesting may just spook the kids out!
Could be the other way round too! ;)
one day is their life span.... he was a baby when put in water...after a day he was old..
wow i m too goodddd
Mmmmmm....it was meant to be one. :D
#Pink,
Awesome! :D
#Shekhar,
Hahaha! Saving your ass now, eh? ;)
Wow ! awesome theories !!
:D
Baap re..sayesha's post and the creativity juices get flowing !
Cool yaar !
:)
one small doubt..will kids have dat much of patience??
dino must be thinking..damn..even water makes me put on weight..;)
#Ritzkini,
Whoa! Pehli baar meri taareef! Mera bhaag khul gaye! :D
#Ursjina,
Oh you'd be surprised to see how much patience kids have when they know something cool's gonna happen! :)
//dino must be thinking..damn..even water makes me put on weight
HAHAHAHA! :D
