Daddy cool

Yesterday, I finally got to meet Varsha, a purani bewdi of the bar, and her adorable family. She asked me what's happening with this, and that's when I realised I should post an update for other interested bewdas too.

There have been no more thefts (*touchwood*) since my Dad's gallant Gandhigiri, and just yesterday, he successfully harvested a 9.5-kg (!!) pumpkin.

:)

Hey :) I've been reading your blog for quite a while now and I find it extremely interesting and entertaining...so much so that I went back and read nearly all your posts ! :) From your current post I went back to the one about Gandhigiri and from there to the one about the India visit family conversation...and I was soooooo surprised and happy to find out that your favourite childhood book is The Lost Girl and the Scallywags ! You are the first person I have come across who is even aware that such a book exists ! I used to love it and the illustrations in it too...and the girl called Zoya :) Keep writing !

#Thousif,
Hahaha! Pumpkin kat bhi gaya aur bant bhi gaya padosiyon mein. :)

#John Doe,
Welcome to the bar. The gold/silver thing was invented by one of the fultu talli bewdas. First person to comment gets the gold, etc. :)

#The Wanderer,
Welcome to the bar! :)
PS: The book rocks, doesn't it? Mine is falling apart already!!
