Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi.....for the awesome songs, the sequences between Kishore and Madhu Bala and the comic capers...just love to listen to those soulful melodies
"Ek Ladki Bheegi Bhaagi Si", "Haal Kaisa hai Janaab", "Baara Aana".
Hail Kishore da.
My fav b/w hindi movie has to be "Pyaasa"...
Mughl-e-Azam was great but my vote will go to 'PYASA'
mr and mrs 55
popular choice: mujhal-e-azam
critic choice: half ticket
Anupama, for the amazing songs!

My vote goes to "chalti ka naam gadi"
who can forget " 5 rupaiyah,12 aanaaaaaaa"
:D
I vote for Chalti ka Naam Gaadi... anytime, anywhere for a Kishore Kumar comedy... add a dash of the beautiful Madhubala to it, and you have a master-piece at hand...
Cheers!
Enigma
Undoubtedly "Do Aankhein Baarah Haath" is at the top. Shree 420 at second.
i am gonna go with the only one i can clearly remember which is "Shri 420".. I had seeen lots more as a kid, but can't remeber any of them ..
Chalti ka naam Gaadi.....
Though Shree 420 comes a close second :-)

Anubhav, with Sanjeev Kumar and Tanuja. It is an offbeat, serious movie.
Mughal-e-azam!!!! The B/W one. Nothing beats Madhubala and the song "Tere mehfil main kismat azma ke.." Truly amazing jugalbandi / qawali!!
barsaat ki raat. the one with bharat bhushan and madhubala. i saw it half way thru. still waiting for the day when i could watch it completely.
Haay woh reshmi julphon se barsataa paani,
Phool se gaalon pe rukne ko tarsataa pani,
Dil mein tufaan uthate huye jazbaat ki raat,
Zindagi bhar nahi bhulegi..
Mahal.
i think 'DOSTI' has to be it, cause every time i see it, i cry, friendship found its true meaning from that film, literally
