Erm.
It looks like Bollywood has too many songs with weird lyrics for this poll to get anywhere. These are some of the toppers:
Tak tana na na tandoori nights tandoori nights tandoori nights
Chadh gaya oopar re, atariya pe lotan kabootar re
Telephone dhun mein hansne wali, Melbourne machhli machalne wali
You are my chicken fry, you are my fish fry
My vote? Well, just like one of the commentators Buddy, I was actually pretty sure that 'Dil dance maare' would enjoy a landslide victory. Buddy, you wanna share the hat?

i found the last post extremely invigorating and since i couldn't leave a comment there... here goes.
'aw c'mon Sayesha... say it... pawty and it rhymes with naughty.
ok,,, now about your current weblog... my knowledge of hindi music is as good as...... ummm... a toddlers knowledge of where to do his pawty...? but i concur, the lyrics (when one can understand them) get weirder and weirder and i don't think the bollywood gang is going to stop with chicken, fish or the tandoor. i hope in the name of universal kindness that they get back to poetry - like 'chachi ke chacha ne chand ke saath thali khilaee' or something to that effect.
wonder why no songs from judwa made it to the list [:P]
I love this topic :) :)
You will find the most exhaustive list of such songs & videos (more than 300 songs) in my post & comment section combined on PFC and my blog. If you can come up with a new song not mentioned by anyone, I promise a laurel wreath for you or anyone who does !
sigh
people have no taste nowadays :P
I actually googled and listened to the You are my chicken fry song..Hilarious!! I havent laughed this much in so long...
and dil dance maare...i thought it was some kind of joke!
I did not know these songs existed until they came up here...maybe they're meant to be jokes that distract from otherwise terrible movies??
Cheers..Preethi
S,
Tandoori nights is still a clear winner for me.
(What was wrong with the people involved... yikes.)
