The bookworm reads aloud

Okay, this video is a few weeks old, but my mom recently told me that of all of Xena's videos so far, this one's her favourite. And that's when I thought I should put it up here. :)

Xena's thought Bubble: "Ah, Mom, You have already told me everything from this book so many times that, see I can read it ulta also.. :P ..(last) Let me come to you, put that camera down, I will show you some errors! :P).... Viv taking her back to him :P

Viv's thought bubble:"Xena, leave..You both are big bores :P"

Gold...

it actually looks like she can understand what's written in the book thoughshe is unable to explain it to us.
at around the 25sec mark it seems like she is flipping back and forth between the pages to check something and then finally she gets totally bored and wants to walk off. LOL
this is so cute.

Silver!

Completely adorable.. so funny to watch Viv napping in the background and then all of a sudden go into the "oh no you don't" mode.

OK, my interpretation of what went down:

(1) Critical persual of book's content, with elbows perched on 'living (sleeping) armchair'

(2) Turns books towards audience to give marketing spiel

(3) Becomes increasingly disgusted with quality of book (evidenced by spittle), tosses aside to seek much better ones written by Mommy

Hawwww Sayeshajee, why didn't you let her keep running towards the camera?! Her blogword fans need a cuddle too, you can't hog her alllll for yourselves, sheesh! :)

by the way, the who's who of Bollywood is coming to Singapore for the IIFAs sometime this week... thought of you! :-) how lucky you are!! if you casually bump into Shah Rukh and exchange numbers with him, could you kindly pass it along please? ;)

If something I learnt from you, it is (i) Be with the "life goes on happily" attitude, come what may. and
(ii) Be the real you without any inhibitions.
I came to read your blog from 2008 through a tamil blogger, whose writings are fantastic. The pathetic thing is she made her blog to be visited only on privilege (only to be accessed by persons she knew)in 2008. There was a link to your blogspot in her blog. Since, ur name was unique, I searched and reached your blog. Cynically I thought, "She is writing well but I don't know when she is going to go on privilege access mode". From that day I follow your blog and I am not even disappointed once by your post. Great going. Some souls are looking up to your chirpy writing.- Vijayaraghavan

Shooo cute... :D :D

My thoughts..
1) She is a fast reader, went from page 1 to last in 0 sec :D
2) She read her daddy to sleep instead of the other way round. lol
3) She goes something like 'Big B Big B' at around 1:06. Waah re, filmy maa ki filmy beti. :D

<3 this vid. :)

Very very cute!! I like the confident look on her face, as she reads. Thoroughly enjoyed viewing the video.

PS: I was reading something (exam book, to be precise... :() and I came across a 'patient' called Sheila. Like you (I remember in one of the 'making of Xena' blogposts that you wrote this), my head had a mini visual of bursting out into song and dance - 'my name is SHEEEEEEEILA, Sheila ki jawaaaaaaani'... before I hit back down to reality. Made me think of you and chuckle. Clearly we are two peas in a pod ;)

He he, nice :). At one point (1:00) it seemed to me she said either "L M N O" or "Yellow Yellow".

And for the initial part I did not realize that the grey things are not pillows but legs :D
