Turning over a new leaf... and eating it!

Xena finally wants to eat something... and guess what it is? The leaves of a tree! Yes, she literally describes how she's going to gobble up the leaves of a tree. And also how I rescue her from the tree using a beeeeeeg ladder, and then put it back in the storeroom.

PS: My apologies to non-Hindi speakers, it's too much to translate. Seriously. :)

my daughter also likes to eat leaves but not real food :). We have a tulsi plant which she would strip clean of leaves and eat if I allowed her to. Sometimes she eats coriander leaves too while pretending to be a giraffe. I like that she is atleast eating something like a vegetable :)

Arun,
LOL! :D She would love to be called that as it's one of her favourite animals!

Nikita,
Hahaha! At least your daughter eats edible leaves. Mine only talks about eating leaves, and that too of the roadside trees. :/

Porkodi,
LOL! You know when I asked her "Neeche kaise jaayegi?" I really was expecting her to say, "Jaise oopar gayi thi!" but when she started thinking, I decided to go along with it. :)

Oh! I thought she might have had at least one story of a kitten stuck in a tree to know that coming down and climbing up are not symmetric!

She's so cute! :) And so smart too!

Can't believe she thought of a ladder on her own!

My daughter's has a sore throat, hope to meet you both once she recovers :)

Heh, I love that she can go up on her own, but needs Momsie to climb up the ladder and bring her down. Cutie pie! :D

Also, Xena overtakes Viv, woohoo! \o/

I love the fact that when you say, socho, socho, she taps her chin with her tiny finger. :) Very observant, and hilarious. She must surely keep you busy and fully entertained everyday.
