srk and gauri.. theirs is the only marriage that seems rock solid in bollywood!
hmm... I think he best bollywood couple is.. considering the factors.. feel-good & 'rab ne bana di jodi' type... Kajol & Ajay Devgan (or Devgn)
Reasons:
1)Definitely because this jodi has never seen any controversies unlike other bollywood jodis be it the bachchans (sr & jr) or the khans
2)Atleast as far as i know is the first marriage of both kajol & Ajay
3)No one expected them to become a jodi atleast not at that point of time especially when the srk-kajol chemistry was on top et al
4)Though it kind of affected kajol's career for some time, she got back into bollywood after that and gave some very performances.. Even Ajay became a better actor afer their marriage
The only other pair i can think of that are so good and came very close is Dilip Kumar - Saira Banu jodi. The only reason they din't come first was coz Saira's career ended after the marriage...

Both are simply sizzling hot, and are also reasonably intelligent too (at least Bips, and yup I am a guy).
Pleeease may I say "Raj and Simran" - or Kajol and Shah Rukh, since they have such fantastic chemistry even in other movies. :P

My vote goes to Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh. Have you seen "Doosra Aadmi"? Unbelievable movie, even apart from the great chemistry between the two.
In case you aren't allowing "past" couples, I must pick John Abraham and Bipasha Basu. Both equally annoying to me, thus obviously well suited to each other.

Its a tough question because typically the couples who are really involved with each other romantically don't really sizzle with great chemistry on the screen so its hard to choose.
My favorites are not romantically involved with each other. I love the following star pairs because they just sizzle on screen and make you want to see more of their performances:
SRK - Kajol
Akshay - Katrina
Saif - Dipika
Ranbir - Konkana
Hrithik - Aishwarya

i like 'them' bcoz of their individuality and independence, their mutual trust, admiration and respect for the other's space and how they have handled the relnshp despite all the media glare and never once blown it out of proportion. probably the only one that is gonna go the whole 9 yards.
weird but i don't like either of them seperately or as actors. :|
Ranvir Shorey and Konkana sen Sharma.. They look like any ordinary couple and are not much hyped. That makes them special..

These days ... like any color shirt goes with any color trousers ... so is the state of bollywood ... koi bhi kisi ke saath .. but still for the sake of the post, I think ... Saif and Kareena make a decent couple

I like Kareena's attitude and seriousness about commitments, she looks good with anybody. For me, Kareena - Saif (lucky guy). Hema-Dharmender also. I somehow feel that Bipasha-John will sweep this poll. They make a companion-friend-cool type couple. :)

I just recently saw "Do Dooni chaar". It was awesome seeing the Rishi-Neetu jodi. They are such amazing (feel good) actors. My vote goes to them only.

I think its Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan... The reason is that they lasted as a couple, unlike most of the others who split up or get divorced...
Another being that I like the tall guy - short girl couples ;)
Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai hands down. They look super-hot together in Dhoom 2, and they look royally beautiful in Jodha Akbar.
