Who put the goat in there?

My dear friend American Pie could not have sent me this video link at a more apt time. You see, I'm trying to learn tamil, and even though I can now officially differentiate between 'kannaadi', 'munnaadi', 'takaali' and 'muttaal', I still have a long way to go. However, this video actually made me glad that I don't understand everything in tamil, because if I did, I wouldn't be able to enjoy, appreciate and most importantly, ROTFLOL my ass off at this uber-hilarious (albeit highly inappropriate at times) video the way I did.

And here's another one I found on Youtube (this one's in Telugu).

Well,I bet I have seen more hilarious Hindi songs! And unlike here, there the hilarity sprang from the dance steps rather than the absurd subtitles added below. And for your information, the second video is of a Telugu movie and not Tamil. Like the girl in Chak De, who says, they are languages as different as Punjabi and Bengali.

That apart, I always wonder why would an excellent dancer like Prabhu Deva chose to become a "Hero". He is the guy who made Hrithik dance to "Main Aisa Kyun Hoon" in Lakshya and in the process won a National award. Good that he moved to direction at least now.

I found these videos a couple of weeks back on you tube. Hilarious! There is one for Tunak Tunak Tun also by the same guy but not as funny as these two. Nothing beats benny lava and girly man! :D

god that has to be the first time i voluntarily saw a prabudeva (blech) song, from start to finish. the subtitles make better sense than the actual lyrix.

Ah, there you are! I knew someone or the other will drop by this post and get all defensive about tamil. This is not a hindi vs tamil (or telugu) post. It's just something I found funny. Can I laugh? Please? :)

#Macho Girl,
Hehe... yeah! I saw the tunak tunak one too... didn't like it that much either... :)

#Desigirl,
Hehehehe! I didn't understand the lyrics and the inhouse man could not help, so yeah, the subtitles were hilarious to me! :P

//love ur writing. pls dont stop!!

Hehe! I won't! :P

#Stone,

hehe just a coupla days I was wondering how you Tamil's coming along and was wondering if I should give you a test.
The reasoning is right on - I didn't find the video very funny [frankly, bordering on the silly] cos sadly I understood most of it!

Sheesh!! Going by how badly Viv was laughing when he saw the video, I'm a bit worried about taking my tamil lessons from him! :|
